File this under – can’t have any more fun with your pants on. The FlyBoard, an invention by water sports enthusiast Franky Zapata from Mareille, France. It’s not really the jet based flight we see in Iron Man or other Sci-fi or spy movies, but it looks like an extreme amount of fun. The Flyboard is a sort of pair of rocket boots that uses water for propulsion.
The FlyBoard enables you to fly through the water like a torpedo, jump like a dolphin and then do aerial tricks up to 30 feet off the ground, check that, I mean water.
You strap your feet onto a platform that contains a couple of extremely powerful water jets (100 horsepower or more). You use your arms to control a couple of hand guided nozzles that provide some steering capabilities. And your power source is a wave runner like machine that trails behind you as you shoot through or over the water.
The good news is you can have it! Franky Zapata will sell you one for just $7400. A small price to pay to feel like Iron Man.
