Brian Hickey of Deadspin brings us a report from the business manager and friend of Joe Frazier, Les Wolff, who says the fighter’s bout against liver cancer may be nearing an end. He’s in serious shape, we’re looking for a miracle,’’ said a source close to the former heavyweight champ. “They’re only giving him a short time to live. We need to have as many people as possible praying for Joe right now”.
Joe Frazier is best known for his three fights against Muhammad Ali including the epic Thrilla in Manila.
