We’re not sure what to make of this. MC Hammer, the entertainer turned entrepreneur, unveiled and gave us peak at the little search search engine that might have a chance. According to MC Hammer, the focus of Wiredoo is on “Deep Search” or “Relationship Search”.

At the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco, Hammer explained that most search engines are built on keywords and links. Google and other search engines are not as strong at connecting keywords to topics that a are related – something he called relationship search. He went on to ruther explain that a search for a car is not just about the car, but about the model, the mileage, the specs and even the zipcode (you likely want to buy from a local seller). A search for a home is related to the surrounding community, schools, neighborhood condition and other related concerns. “It’s about relationships beyond just the keywords,” Hammer said on stage.
Only time will tell if it’s legit or if they should quit. We were disappointed when we didn’t get a – “Google, you can’t touch this”.
